Lots of people want to know where I find the products that I use in my designs.
Truth? Everywhere! I’m always on the look out for products. If I’m walking down the street and I see a cool store I’ll head in to see what I can find. I Instagram lots of products so I can remember where I saw them. I spend inordinate amounts of time combing throughout trade magazines search for things I think would work well in someone’s space. I go down the rabbit hole on Instagram in the pursuit of excellent product. I’m that designer grabbing samples EVERYWHERE I go in the hopes of using it in a future or current design.
So so when I create a design for a client lots of time and research has gone into it sometimes even before they become my clients. It is truly unique to that client and they can be assured that no one else will have a design quite like their anywhere in the world.
