What are some ways that you get inspiration for a space or room Part 2

Some times my inspiration comes from a concept. A feeling I want to evoke when someone enters the room or an interpretation of something I’ve seen.

This is a hard one for me and I don’t do it very often. However, when I do go this route it’s usually the most successful.

So instead of the long explanation I’ll just give you some visuals

For this room the concept I wanted to evoke was Sunset through the Trees. This home has gorgeous views of the LA skyline and I wanted to bring that feeling in. Even though I relied heavily on color this was more about the feeling for me.
