What are some ways that you get inspiration for a space or room?

So you are looking at your space or room. You’re wondering how a designer finds the inspiration to transform a room into something amazing.

There are several ways I find inspiration to design a room around. This post will be about using color as inspiration.

Color

This is my most favorite way to get inspiration for a room. I find out from a client the colors that they like or dislike. From there I choose a neutral for the room and build from there. Let me clear I don’t mean that I saturate the room with that color every time. I mean that sometimes I use it as a reference and sometimes its like *BOOM* *POW*
