So today I attended 2 different events and boy I’m glad I went!!
The first was LightShow West I totally refreshed and added to my lighting library. Visited vendors like AFX, Inc, with their great sconce line and decorative cut outdoor lighting. Enjoyed meeting in person the guys from Cerno, I had only previously seen their lighting on YouTube. I will say that the lamps, overhead lights, and hideaway sconces were even more amazing in person. You should check them out. Bruck Lighting impressed me with their various pendant lights. Found some great LED replacement for fluorescent bulbs from Keystone (Light Made Easy).
BUT the highlight of the show for me was LumaFilm by Heilux, LLC. This stuff is what lighting dreams are made of (exaggeration). It’s a thin mat of LED lights that can be cut into stripes, adhered with double stick tapes, used in damp spaces, energy efficient and green. All that with not hot spots and easy to install. I really suggest that you check them out here.
So after exploring the light show I headed over to WestEdge Design held at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, CA. One of the vendors who had a very cool products was Newwall. 3D wall paper, Velcro wall paper in lots of cool patterns and they actually featured some of their wallpaper on the floor although the rep advised that that was not it’s intended use.
I enjoyed the Jenifer Janniere furniture display with it’s chevron patterned theme.
Then I feasted my eyes on the Bertrand Desk by Atelier Delalain out of New York and it’s shaggy little companion.
Wish you could have been there, but since you couldn’t I add a few more pictures for your viewing pleasure.
