This Capitol Hill Row house used to belong to the homeowner’s grandparents. The grandparents had been in the house since the 60s. When their grandmother passed they purchased the home and set about renovating it.
I worked with the builder to make selections of all fixtures and finishes, including paint, tile, lighting fixtures, cabinets and floors to name a few. I also worked with the homeowner while the renovations where happening to make furniture, area rugs and window treatment selection.
Once the builder completed the renovation changes I installed all the furniture and decor we had selected. One of the reoccurring statements was how proud their grandparents would have been on the home they’ve created. There is hardly a day that goes by that they are not in awe of this Capitol Hill rowhouse.
You know the thing I love best is to make a house feel like a home. The Capitol Hill Rowhouse has definitely made the transition.
